01. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to PanicDM (panicdm.com). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PanicDM, an AI-powered tactical tabletop encounter generation platform operated by LazyLabs, a trade name of Kim Vereecke ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Belgium with Enterprise / VAT number BE 1041.759.412 and registered office at Beke 81, 9950 Lievegem, Belgium.
By registering an account, purchasing credit packs, accessing, or using PanicDM, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our associated Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
02. Description of Service & License Grant
PanicDM provides Dungeon Masters and tabletop Game Masters with real-time procedural combat encounter generation, multi-room tactical dungeon layouts, environmental hazards, dynamic enemy stat blocks, and campaign continuation hooks for fifth-edition tabletop roleplaying games (D&D 5e / SRD 5.1).
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, LazyLabs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, worldwide license to use PanicDM to generate, edit, store, and export encounter content for personal or live commercial tabletop gaming sessions (such as streaming or professional game mastering).
03. Merchant of Record & Payment Processing (Paddle)
All financial transactions, payments, and checkout flows across PanicDM are handled by our authorized Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (Judd House, 18-29 Mora Street, London, EC1V 8BT, UK) or its EU operating subsidiary Paddle Payments Ireland Ltd.
- Seller of Record: Paddle acts as the legal Merchant of Record and seller for all orders placed through PanicDM. Paddle will appear on your card, bank, or PayPal billing statement.
- Tax Compliance: Paddle is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and European Value Added Tax (VAT) in accordance with your jurisdiction.
- Security Standards: Payment instrument details (credit cards, PayPal credentials) are entered directly into Paddle's secure, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified checkout environment. LazyLabs never receives, stores, or handles raw cardholder data.
04. Digital Delivery, Consumable Credits & Pricing
PanicDM operates on a digital usage credit model:
Delivers approximately 10 complete tactical encounters (3 credits per encounter).
Delivers approximately 35 complete encounters. Best value for ongoing campaigns.
- Automated Delivery: Digital usage credits are delivered automatically and immediately to your registered account upon verified receipt of payment from Paddle via cryptographically signed (HMAC-SHA256) webhooks.
- Consumable License: Credits represent a limited, revocable license to execute AI procedural generation queries. Credits do not constitute monetary balances, property, or legal currency, and have no cash-out value.
- Generation Cost: Each complete encounter generation consumes exactly 3 credits from your account balance. Free promotional credits (e.g. 9 credits upon initial account sign-up and 15 bonus credits for submitting tactical feedback) are governed by the same usage terms.
05. Cancellation & Refund Policy Summary
Our detailed refund terms are set forth in our dedicated Refund & Cancellation Policy:
- 14-Day Statutory Withdrawal: In compliance with European Union and consumer protection standards, you have the statutory right to withdraw from a credit pack purchase within 14 days of purchase, provided the credit pack remains wholly unspent.
- Consumed Credits Exception: Once generation credits have been spent to trigger AI encounter generations, the digital procedural service has been executed with your express consent. Therefore, consumed credits are strictly non-refundable.
- Service Outage Guarantee: If a technical failure, server downtime, or AI inference error deducts credits without delivering your encounter content, contact [email protected] for immediate credit restoration or a full transaction refund via Paddle.
06. Acceptable Use & TTRPG Content Policy
When utilizing PanicDM, you agree not to submit prompts or content that:
- Depict, promote, or encourage unlawful violence, sexual abuse, harassment, discrimination, or hate speech.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract our underlying databases, prompts, or proprietary rule-matching engines.
- Bypass, spoof, or manipulate authentication tokens, rate limiters, or credit verification endpoints.
- Resell, share, or redistribute account credentials or automated API access to unauthorized third parties.
07. Intellectual Property & Gaming Trademarks
All interface designs, graphics, branding, software architecture, and compilation of databases on PanicDM are the proprietary property of LazyLabs and its licensors.
Third-Party TTRPG Trademarks: Dungeons & Dragons and D&D are registered trademarks of Wizards of the Coast LLC.
PanicDM uses standard Open Gaming content pursuant to the System Reference Document 5.1 ("SRD 5.1") under open gaming guidelines. References to D&D denote system compatibility. PanicDM is an independent utility and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast LLC.
08. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
PanicDM and its generation capabilities are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Belgian and EU law, LazyLabs disclaims all express or implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall LazyLabs or Paddle be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from platform downtime or loss of game data.
09. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, excluding its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Ghent, Belgium (European Union).
